These groups work tirelessly to protect, rehabilitate, and rehome animals in need, and their efforts have a powerful ripple effect across our region.

Whether it’s rescuing abandoned pets, facilitating adoptions, organizing spays and neuters, or educating the public on responsible pet ownership, local rescue groups are often the first to step in when an animal has nowhere else to turn.

How We Support Their Mission
As a veterinary clinic, we’re proud to provide medical care, vaccinations, surgical services, and wellness exams to many rescue pets before they head to their new homes. By working closely with these organizations, we help ensure that every adopted pet is healthy, happy, and ready to thrive.

We also encourage our clients to consider fostering or adopting from one of our local rescues or shelters. Each adoption not only gives a deserving animal a second chance—it also frees up space for another animal in need.

How You Can Help
There are many ways you can get involved:

  • Volunteer your time—rescues always need help with care, transportation, and events. Shelters often need help cleaning the facility and walking the pets
  • Donate—whether it’s food, supplies, or monetary gifts, every contribution counts.
  • Spread the word—share adoptable animals on social media and tell friends and family about local rescue efforts.
